AGV PALLET HANDLER
Designed to integrate into an AGV (automated guided vehicle) network, this pallet handler will receive pallets on demand from an AGV, up-stack them to a program selectable number, and signal an AGV to remove the stack when it is complete. It can also dispense pallets when requested by the AGV.
Here is how it works. The AGV will communicate with the Pallet Handler control either over Ethernet or WI FI. When the AGV has an empty pallet to store, as it approaches the Pallet Handler it signals that it has a pallet to stack. The Pallet Handler goes into stack mode. It receives the pallet and up-stacks it. When the AGV wants to withdraw a pallet from the stack, it signals the Pallet Handler and it goes into dispense mode.
The Pallet Handler is fully automatic and requires no operator attention during operation. It also features a small footprint, since no conveyors are required.
